Tony Powell


Tony is an experienced adviser to blue chip companies who brings deep experience in growth strategy, innovation, proposition development, and learning and development. He has designed and delivered many of Edengene's innovation learning and devopment programmes. These include 'The Innovation Challenge' for executives, Innovation Bootcamps for innovation practitioners, and 'The Innovation Effect' for introducing principles of innovation to the workforce at large. His clients have included, among others, BT, E.ON, RBS and Lloyds TSB.

In addition to consultancy, Tony actively advises and mentors start-ups and committees, including the ICAEW. He is a Director of an Oxford based start-up Foresight

Analytics and delivers courses on a range of business topics such as negotiation skills, customer experience, project management and financial modelling.

Prior to working with Edengene, Tony was an Accounting and Consulting Partner at KPMG and a Partner in Charge of their training and research functions. During this time he led teams responsible for designing and implementing new working processes and practices, both for clients and KPMG itself, for groups of between 50 and 50,000 worldwide.

Tony holds a BA in Physics from Oxford University, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and the ICAEW England and Wales.
