Robert Brand


Robert has almost 20 years' experience in leading growth and innovation projects across a variety of sectors, with a focus on the ICT and energy sectors. He has deep expertise in developing and delivering stretching, but implementable growth strategies and customer-led propositions, products and services that get results.

During his time with Edengene, Robert has delivered significant results for his clients, including (amongst others) 02, Virgin Media, BT, E.ON, The Carbon Trust and SAB Miller. He has helped to conceive and take to market a number of successful propositions and ventures including remote health monitoring, micro-generation, mobile child protection, online energy services, RFID data management solutions and fixed line messaging.

He is the author of Edengene’s Market Journey methodology, which enables companies to develop growth and innovation strategies by constructing a detailed view of how complex, fast-paced markets may evolve in the future.

In addition, Robert has considerable experience in creating and leveraging market and customer insight, having led the Automotive practice at Datamonitor. Prior to joining Edengene, Robert also worked for Greenwich Consulting where he focused on telecoms and media projects across Europe.

Robert holds a BSc in Economics from University College London.
